With step-by-step instructions, spend the day learning the basics of the fascinating and traditional craft of batik. Using hot wax on fabric, explore colour layering, special tools and techniques involved to produce your own botanical study. Suitable for complete beginners or those who have dabbled with batic previously.
This is a slightly longer workshop to the usual Field Breaks Art class, to allow for the drying times of the fabric you will be using. We are planning a longer (two-day) workshop for the future so we can explore the more advanced batik techniques, if you would be interested in this, please drop us a line via our contact page.
