Summer Art Schools 2027

NEW! Due to the incredible popularity of this course, we are excited to announce that we have now added a second date for our annual art holiday!  This new date is located at the other end of the Summer, in September. Run on very similar lines, the course is slightly shorter at  three nights, running over 4 days.

Join local artist Hazel Money and like minded company in this tranquil location and enjoy a painting holiday with a difference.  Suitable for all abilities including complete beginners, we will be inspired by contemporary and historical artists, try out different mediums and have a go at different subjects, choosing to paint inside or out of doors, during the week.  Hazel will give a series of demonstrations and offer a number of structured workshops for you to join, or alternatively you may choose put your feet up or work on your own existing project.

Do you enjoy painting but find you are stuck in a rut?  Need a helping hand to give you a push?  Or do you feel you'd like to try something different?  Maybe you just want to spend time developing your own work in the company of others.  This relaxing art break will give you the time to let your creative side flourish.

Some general materials are supplied, with participants bringing extra painting materials they wish to use during the week.  Painting will take place in the studio as well as the grounds of the Nightingale Centre and with optional trips to the local area, using shared cars at the individuals' own risk.

July course - Arrive from 2 pm on Monday 19th July, departing at around 2 pm on Friday the 23rd July 2027.

September course - Arrive from 2 pm on Thursday 2nd September, departing at around 2 pm on Sunday the 5th Sept 2027.

The programme details along with the suggested list of materials will be forwarded 4 weeks prior to the workshop start date.
