Working with coloured pencils on dark paper, learn to use a simple technique to "draw" out highlights, looking for tone and contrast and watching how the subject appears from out of the paper. Great for sketching interiors, we will use this fun and inventive technique to work from still life subjects in the studio, using coloured glass with strong lighting to add interest to our compositions.
If you are new or at all hesitant with your drawing, this workshop will teach you new skills that you will be able to use elsewhere, for example for figure or interior artwork. Those more experienced will gain insights as to how to use the technique with other media. With demonstrations and individual guidance, join likeminded company for an enjoyable and creative workshop which will take the fear out of drawing. Suitable for all abilities.
