Woodland Wander Workshop


A perfect introduction to wet felted landscapes.  Learn the techniques of creating realistic trees in wet felting plus learning to add depth to your picture. We will be using a variety of colourful merino wool, wool curls, silk threads and more to layer into our landscape.

In the morning we will be creating the woodland scene, then after lunch you will learn the process of wet felting to make the fibres stick together. Learn the basics of needle felting and add tree bark, branches and foliage plus adding flowers and birds to your piece.

All materials supplied.  Coffee, tea & biscuits provided but please bring a packed lunch.

The piece will be approximately A3 once felted. This class can be completed by beginners.

  • Please bring an apron and a small hand towel. All other materials will be supplied.

  • Wet felting requires some hand and arm strength for rubbing and rolling the wool. The wet felting process takes about 30 mins.


Saturday 27th Septeber 2025 from 10 am – 3.30 pm.  Refreshments included and with everyone bringing a packed lunch.  Parking is on site.  This is a non-residential workshop.
