Mixed Media - Flowers and Plants in Tissarge with Sally Brackett
Following the success of Sally's workshop in 2024, she is again returning to bring us another inspiring day, working with pen and ink on tissue paper. After collaging this onto a canvas background, you will create a Tissarge collage picture with an acrylic painted background on the canvas. Great fun, this is an unusual technique which is suitable for both beginners and more experienced artists. The collage technique is a perfect “best-of-both-worlds” way to combine drawing with paint.
Reference pictures of flowers and plants will be provided but you can bring your own ideas if you have something specific in mind.

Most the materials are provided for this fabulously creative workshop, which is suitable for all abilities. No specific drawing or painting skills are required, just a desire to have a go at using different techniques. A short materials list will be forwarded before the workshop starts so that you can be getting yourself in the mood!
Friday 11th of April 2025 from 10 am – 3.30 pm. Refreshments provided and with everyone bringing a packed lunch. Parking is on site. This is a non-residential workshop.
