Join us for an enjoyable and creative day with award winning soft pastel artist Cath Inglis, and learn all about ways to capture realistic details to create your own characterful portrait of this wonderful Quizzical Hare. Looking at all aspects of the potrait, Cath will show us ways to scale up work, then go on to create textures to represent realisitic fur. Cath will also give advice on choosing and mixing colours, and look at ways to rectify any mistakes as you go along. Cath will offer expert advice for all your questions and help you achieve a really super result by the end of the day.
All materials are provided, or you can give your own an airing. A list with a few useful additions you can also bring from home will be forwarded before the workshop. Cath will also have some very good quality pastels for sale on the day if you require more colours to take home afterwards.
I have my own photograph - can I work from this instead?
Yes of course, please bring along your own photograph if you prefer, and Cath will give advice on how to make it work. Please make sure that the image is a good detailed resolution, and has no direct shine. For more information please contact us
